The last twelve months have seen great progress for females at Fulham FC and there is plenty to celebrate around the 8th March date, which will be happening in our games away at Brentford and at home to Arsenal.

One of our own successes for the last 12 months has been the inception of the Fulham Lillies, a female supporter group setup to drive changes for female fans and encourage a network of support between fans at games.

The Fulham Lillies have been working closely with Fulham FC and Her Game Too, through ambassador for Fulham Amelia Armstrong, to arrange celebrations to mark the day.

On Monday March 6th for the game versus Brentford, there will be female mascots for the fixture, interviews with both Fulham and Brentford women FC players, interviews with female players and fans in the matchday programme, and both teams will be warming up in Her Game Too t-shirts.

The following Sunday, March 12th when Fulham take on Arsenal at Craven Cottage, there will be female ball assistants, flag bearers and mascots, and we’re delighted to hear that the recipient of the Forever Fulham award for this match will be former Fulham & Arsenal player and legend, Rachel Yankey.

The Lillies will be hosting their pre-match meetup in the usual spot of the Tea House inside Bishops Park, and welcome all female fans & male allies to pop down and join in with the festivities. They’ll be around to sit and chat all things Fulham from 12 noon until 1.30PM when they will be moving on to the Cottage.
