On Saturday 2 October, Fulham will make our first trip to Coventry City since a League Cup tie in 1982 and our first league visit since 1967. Here’s the FST Away Day Guide.

TICKETING INFORMATION

Fulham have been allocated 2,000 tickets priced at £30 for adults, £25 for senior citizens, £25 for those aged between 18 and 21, students, members of the armed forces and £20 for those aged under 20.

GETTING TO THE COVENTRY BUILDING SOCIETY ARENA

BY CAR

The Coventry Building Society Arena is very close to both the M1 and the M40. The easiest route would be to start on the M1 and join the M6 at the Catthorpe Interchange. Leave the motorway at Junction three and head south along the Jimmy Hill Way. The stadium is clearly signposted and about three minutes away. There is plenty of parking at the stadium, which can be booked online. At the time of writing (22 September), the main arena car park was sold out but the other two were still showing spaces.

BY TRAIN

The closest train station is the custom-built Coventry Arena near to the south-east corner of the stadium and it is served by West Midlands trains from London Euston. The journey will take under an hour. The main Coventry station is located in the city centre, about four miles away from the ground. From this station, you can take the number 8 bus to Coventry Transport Museum and then the number 4 or number 5 to Arena Park (Tesco). An underpass will then take you into one of the stadium’s main car parks.

BY COACH

Club coaches will leave Motspur Park and Craven Cottage at 8.15am priced at £17 for adult season ticket holders and £10 for junior season ticket holders. Non season-ticket holder seats are £22 for adults and £17 for juniors.

AWAY PUBS

There are two areas at the stadium that offer alcohol outside of the concourses (the Aylesford pub and Bar 1883), but the pub options for visiting supporters are pretty sparse close to the stadium.

  • The Coach and Horses (Longford Road, Longford, Coventry, CV6 6BG) has welcomed away fans earlier this season and is about ten minutes from the ground.

  • The JK English bar and grill (Foleshill Road, Coventry, CV6 6ER) is another option, a short walk from the ground via Longford Road, which serves excellent Indian food.

  • The New Horseshoe Bar and Grill (1007 Foleshill Road, Coventry CV6 5HN) has previously welcomed away fans and offers a good selection of beers and wide range of food. All of the other venues close to the stadium are designated as home fans only and you may need to cover your colours in establishments in the city centre as well.
