The Fulham Supporters’ Trust’s structured relationship with Fulham Football Club was recognised as an example of best practice in engaging with supporters by the Government.

A report on progress after a year since the report of the Government’s Expert Working Group on Football Supporter Ownership and engagement published by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport stated:

At Fulham FC, the Fulham Supporters’ Trust sends a delegation from the Trust Board to a monthly meeting with the Chief Executive (and other club officials as appropriate). The club recognises the suitability of the Trust for structured dialogue with the club’s supporters, with the Trust able to raise any items of significance and the notes published and widely distributed. This structured relationship has greatly increased communication and trust between the club and Fulham supporters.

The Fulham Supporters’ Trust are pleased that the success of our structured relationship with Fulham Football Club has been recognised in this important report and believe that continued engagement will deliver further benefits for Fulham Football Club and our supporters.
