Gandee Morgan wins Rachel Yankey Trophy


Fulham FC Women midfielder Stella Gandee Morgan was presented with the Fulham Supporters’ Trust’s Rachel Yankey Trophy before Sunday’s victory over Norwich City at Craven Cottage.
Gandee Morgan played a key part in Fulham’s promotion to the FA National Women’s League last season, scoring seventeen goals and adding twelve assists, in 31 appearances for the Whites. Gandee Morgan, who was presented with the trophy by Trust member and competition winner Georgina Bubb, said:
“I’ve loved every moment since joining Fulham and couldn’t have asked for a better season or group of people to start off with. I’m so grateful to have been voted as the winner of this award by my team-mates. Rachel Yankey was a huge inspiration to me when I started playing football as a kid so it really does mean the world.”

Gandee Morgan is the second winner of the Rachel Yankey Trophy following in the footsteps of Georgia Heasman.
The Rachel Yankey Trophy was presented to Fulham FC Women by the Fulham and Lionesses legend in 2022 and is awarded annually following a vote of all Fulham FC Women playing staff, management and coaching staff to the player who has:
- Shown a strong commitment to all aspects of the Fulham FC Women programme;
- Shown a winning mentality;
- Shown a consistent willingness to learn;
- Acted as a role model whom their peers look up to;
- Demonstrated the ability to deal with disappointment;
- Displayed a noticeable improvement in the development of their skills and
- understanding of the game;
- Acted as an ambassador for the club and clearly demonstrated Fulham FC Women
- values.
The Trust would like to congratulate Stella on winning the award and encourage Fulham fans to support the Fulham FC Women as Steve Jaye’s stylish side seek to maintain their 100 per cent to the new season.
