FST August News Update

IT’S ALMOST HERE …
… we give a quick update on what has been happening over the summer and provide away details for those travelling to Brighton this Saturday.
See you all soon!
RETURN OF FULHAM’S 1995 CREST
The Trust were delighted to see the Fulham’s 1995 crest return to the club away strip for the 2025/2026 season. We were also pleased to see the Club unveil a retro range of accessories and other items displaying the 1995 crest as part of the merchandise to accompany the new strip. The Trust and our members have regularly asked the Club to both promote more of the Club’s history and our historical crests – and we will continue to do so.
The green away shirt – a homage to the 1999/2000 strip worn by Paul Bracewell’s side – is available to purchase in the Club shop on Stevenage Road or online via the Club website
STOP EXPLOITING LOYALTY
The Trust remains strongly in support of the Football Supporters Association’s ‘Stop Exploiting Loyalty‘ campaign and reaffirmed our commitment to campaigning ahead of this season’s Premier League fixtures during the FSA’s AGM this summer.

We will be joining our friends from the Manchester United Supporters’ Trust in a photo call outside Craven Cottage ahead of Fulham’s first Premier League home fixture on Sunday 24 August. We will be meeting outside the Bishop’s Park tea house at 3.15pm.
TRUST ANNUAL SURVEY
The Trust would like to remind our members to take five minutes and fill in our 2025 supporters’ survey. You fill it in via our SurveyMonkey link:

Please forward to your Fulham-supporting family and friends.
AWAY TICKETS
The Trust are pleased to note that the Club have sold tickets for the first two Premier League away fixtures using loyalty points. The Trust made representations to the Club following last season’s decision not to adopt loyalty points for the Boxing Day SW6 derby at Stamford Bridge and are pleased that the Club has listened to our feedback. During the current season the FST will be helping with a review of the Loyalty Points programme being led by the Fan Advisory Board. We will continue to present your feedback to the Club on ticketing matters through our regular meetings with Fulham Football Club.
SAVE THE DATE
Please save Thursday, November 20th for the FST AGM.
More details will be sent to members in due course.
TRUST CHAIR ATTENDS FAN ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
Simon Duke, Chair of the Fulham Supporters’ Trust, attended the most recent meeting of the Club’s Fan Advisory Board. The full minutes from that meeting are available here.
CLUB MEETING
The Trust would like to thank all of our members who sent in questions to the Club over the past month. Our Board members put questions to Alistair Mackintosh and Club officials in our August meeting this week and we will distribute the notes of that discussion to our members first as soon as possible.
UPDATE FROM THE MET POLICE FOOTBALL INDEPENDENT ADVISORY GROUP
Trust Board member Sue Couch and co-representative Ian Clarke were at the July meeting of the Met Police Football Independent Advisory Group (IAG), along with supporter group reps from other clubs across London.
The meeting was joined for the first agenda item by Chief Superintendent Clair Haynes, who thanked the group and emphasised how useful it is to receive the questions and feedback we offer.
For our part, these meetings are an important opportunity to bring the views of London-based supporters to the decision makers in policing match days. It’s fascinating to realise the scale of the work done by police, with most of it unseen.
This meeting’s agenda included:
- Structure of the events policing unit and an outline of how police are deployed across the city according to anticipated need and in response to events as they happen. For large scale events it’s not unusual to draft in additional asset from outside the Met, and officers can be moved from one site to another as necessary and according to real-time situations.
- Arrest figures for 2024–25, per club, offences, home/away and European games.
- Policing of European ties, home and away.
- The rumoured potential use of facial recognition technology, by clubs, rather than police.
We’ll be able to share more detail once the minutes have been approved. Meanwhile, if you have any questions you’d like to be raised at these meetings, please do get in touch.

BY TRAIN
The nearest railway station to Brighton’s ground is Falmer, which is situated right by the stadium. It is three stops from Brighton Central along the line to Lewes and Seaford. There are four trains per hour.
Brighton Central Railway Station is over four miles away from the stadium – which necessitates the use of a bus, train or taxi. Brighton & Hove Bus No 25 can be caught from Cardinal Square stop G (Route and timetable on the Brighton & Hove Bus Company website, which shows bus stops) operates a regular service (every 12 minutes) up to the stadium from Central Brighton, as do Bus Numbers 28 & 29. Journey time is around 20 minutes. On return the No 25 leaves from the stadium via a stop through the coach park, near to the away fans entrance at Brighton’s stadium.
AWAY PUBS
There are plenty of pubs within Brighton and along the south coast to choose from but Fulham fans are welcome in the fan zone at the north east corner of the AMEX Stadium at the walkway to the station. The mobile bars serve beers brewed in Lewes.
The away bars serve Harvey’s real ale, Fosters, White or Red Wine and sometimes stock a guest ale from the visiting sides. The away bars will remain after the final whistle and away fans are usually welcome in the North Stand until 8pm, with screens showing the late kick off – and are well worth staying at.
