Heasman wins Rachel Yankey Trophy

The Trust were delighted to present Fulham FC Women winger Georgia Heasman with the Rachel Yankey Trophy after the in-form forward was voted as the inaugural winner by her team-mates.
Heasman collected her award from Trust chair Simon Duke, vice chair Hayley Davinson and Trust member Sienna Celaire, who won our competition of young female members to be part of the presentation party.

Heasman, who has been a first-team regular since joining Fulham FC Women in the summer of 2021, memorably scored the first female goal at Craven Cottage in two decades when the Whites returned to their historic home in a London derby against AFC Wimbledon in 2023.
After receiving the award, she told the Trust:
“When I was told that I was getting this award, I was very emotional and a little surprised. To be voted as the winner by such a special group of girls is really incredible and it means so much more because Rachel Yankey was someone who really inspired me in my younger days. I would like to thank my team-mates, the Fulham fans and the Trust for their support of me personally, Fulham FC Women and the women’s game.”
