BY TRAIN
The Etihad Stadium has the Etihad Campus Metrolink stop on the East Manchester line, which is just five minutes walk from the away end. Trams run from Victoria or Piccadilly railway stations, or Market Street or Piccadilly Gardens in the city centre. They run every six minutes on a matchday and the journey is around eight minutes (£3 for adults; £1.40 for children).
The closest railway station is Ashburys, which is about five minute train ride from Manchester Piccadilly. It is about a fifteen minute walk from Ashburys to the Etihad Stadium. Turn left out of the station, continue up the road and the stadium will appear on the left.
It is about a 25 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly to the ground. AWAY PUBS
The immediate vicinity of the Etihad Stadium offers no established away pubs and most of the pubs around Piccadilly are usually home supporters only on matchdays as well. Away supporters are advised to drink or dine in the Printworks, near to Victoria station and use the tram to travel to the ground.
The most popular place for Fulham fans to drink before, during or after a Manchester away game remains Duffy’s Bar (398 Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, M21 8AD) in Chorlton, a popular sport-themed venue that is run by a Fulham-supporting landlord, Peter, and there is a selection of Fulham memorabilia on the walls, including a signed George Best shirt from his time at Craven Cottage and a signed Tom Cairney home shirt above the bar.
