Rachel Yankey Trophy

The Fulham Supporters’ Trust are firmly committed to supporting Fulham FC Women and have agreed, in conjunction with Fulham Football Club, to introduce the Rachel Yankey Trophy to honour the Fulham FC Women Player of the Year.

The trophy, named after Fulham and Lionesses legend Yankey, was formally presented to Fulham FC Women’s vice-captain ChloĆ© Christison-McNee and Tia Foreman at half-time during the Whites’ 1-1 draw with Dulwich Hamlet in October 2023.

The trophy is awarded to the winner of a ballot in which all first-team players, coaching staff and management have one vote.

The nomination criteria will recognise Fulham FC Women’s players who have:

  1. Shown a strong commitment to all aspects of the Fulham FC Women programme;
  2. Shown a winning mentality;
  3. Shown a consistent willingness to learn;
  4. Acted as a role model whom their peers look up to;
  5. Demonstrated the ability to deal with disappointment;
  6. Displayed a noticeable improvement in the development of their skills and
    understanding of the game;
  7. Acted as an ambassador for the club and have clearly demonstrated Fulham FC Women
    values.

WINNERS OF THE RACHEL YANKEY TROPHY

2023/2024: GEORGIA HEASMAN

The inaugural winner of the Rachel Yankey Trophy was Fulham FC Women forward Georgia Heasman. She was presented with the Trophy by Trust chair Simon Duke, Trust member and competition winner Sienna Celaire and Trust vice-chair Hayley Davinson.


2024/2025: STELLA GANDEE MORGAN

Stella Gandee Morgan was voted the winner of the Rachel Yankey Trophy for the 2024/2025 season. She received the Trophy from Trust member and competition winner Georgina Bubb earlier this season.
